LifeX is a venture capital firm investing in life science and biotech startups with the potential to transform human health. Backed by deep ties to clinical and academic research, LifeX supports early-stage companies from discovery through commercialization.
LifeX needed a brand-new website that could support the unique requirements of an ETF-focused product. With high traffic, strict financial disclosure rules, and daily product data requirements, the site had to be both technically robust and extremely reliable. Their goal was to create a clear, scalable digital presence that could support investors, founders, and compliance teams alike.

We built a custom Webflow site from the ground up, with a strong focus on performance, security, and accuracy.
To ensure financial data was always in sync with their API (a regulatory must), we implemented client-side rendering for sensitive datasets. This decision minimized failure points and ensured real-time accuracy directly from the source of truth. While most of the site runs on CMS-powered pages, all critical data comes in live every weekday by 8am.
We also took advantage of Webflow Enterprise features like page branching, enabling LifeX to stage updates, collaborate with regulators, and roll back changes with ease. This functionality supports the kind of rigorous review process required by US financial laws.
LifeX is now using Webflow Analyze to better understand user behavior and inform future iterations. Our team continues to provide ongoing support as they gather data and test new UI improvements.
